Music Makers at the Keyboard
Children will experience activities that lead to “Musical Literacy” and Readiness for Individual Instrumental Learning. “Musical Literacy” means ability to play by ear and by reading notes.
Children will develop good sense of beat and pitch and will learn musical concepts progressively through notation card games, singing, movement, drumming, dancing and ensemble playing.
More advanced activities include dictation, composition, improvisation, transposition, harmony and form analysis.
Children learn to play-by-ear and also by reading notes, resulting in pride and excitement in making msuic with their friends.
Suitable for Children from age 6 and above (60 min weekly with parents' sharing time)
